I'm 5'8 and weigh about 197 lbs.
I swim everyday for about an hour and a half in the pool.
how many calories should I be taking in everyday to maintain a gradual weightloss? I tend to keep it between 1200-1500 is that good?

1,300 calories to be more specific is good for trying to lose weight. if you only plan on maintaining your weight 1700 calories is fine.

Remember though that no matter how little calories you take, the sugar and fat content of what you eat matters too... low calories but high cholesterol or fat wont get you losing much weight.
