Looking to add another 250-350 square feet on to our older home, and was just wondering, if we did the dry wall ourselves and had a family friend do the electrical work, how much can I expect to pay for the addition, approximately? We would most likely also do the floors ourselves as well.

Just not sure of how much getting the electric and dry wall done by ourselves and a friend will save us in the long run. I do trust the electrician, by the way.

Oh and nothing special, just a bedroom and possibly small family room addition. Most likely a 14 by 14 room and a 10 by 14 room.

So I was listening to Catholic Answers today (Im Christian) it is a Holy Obligation Day for Mary. The man said that Mary was born without sin, just like Jesus. I was raised Catholic and never knew this. I dont believe for a minute its biblical, rather dogmatic, however I had to call my mom who is a dyed in the wool catholic and she told me other Christian denominations believe this very thing too. Any Born agains know about this? Agree or disagree?

First off, I know this isn't the right place but I thought this would be the place I would get the most help. P&S is the best!
My wife's best friend was having a problem with her 20 yr old daughter and my wife went to be there for them. Well I told my mother what was going on, and next time my mom seen the best friend, she asked her how things were. Well, she called my wife screaming and yelling, how come she told me what was going on and all. Well it was my fault my mom found, not my wifes, but she is still made at her for telling me. I felt i had a right to know where my wife was running off too after she got a call from her crying. My mother asked b/c she was worried, they lived nexted to each other years ago. The best friend and I kinda get along, she's not my best friend ya know. But now she called my wife, stating she wants nothing to do with me, calling me an @ss and how she never wants to play cards with us again. Why do people swear on the Bible? MY smokes where am at just now are about 65p the pack o 20, how the F*^k can the UK justify adding so much onto a packet o fags, most places i work are cheap as hell even around Europe it's cheaper than the UK, how the hell would the UK economy survive if smoking was banned altogether, the gov. would get f*^k all what then charge tap water at £3 a pint that'll be next.

Why can't liberals ever asnswer that question with a simple yes.

Mind you I am niether conservative or liberal.

But I think we have it pretty good, I mean there some countries you can go to jail for bad mouthing the president or get your finger cut off for steeling.

We have a lot to work on and change together but there are many palces that are worse and only a few the same or better.

Our baby is 3 days old and my wife is nursing colostrum, not milk yet. She nurses for about 20 minutes and then he falls asleep and wakes up 15 minutes later wanting to nurse again. I can tell because he cries until I offer my pinky finger and he sucks so I hand him to my wife but she says she already gave him enough and shouldn't give him more but I see that he wants more and insist.
