Every once in a while, while I'm combing my hair (such as putting mousse and hairspray) my left hand tingles. Why is that? It only happens on that hand, and when I'm doing my hair?

You possibly have carpal tunnel syndrome so when you bend the wrist the nerves get pinched and they cause the numbness and tingling sensation. Try getting a wrist brace and see if that helps so that you don't bend the wrist.

I am not a doctor, but here is my two cents. Do you also feel some numbness on your hands, then you might be suffering from what they call "paresthesias". Paresthesia is an abnormal nerve sensation (pins and needle or tingling sensation) that some people feel as a result from nerve damage due to pressure, or nerve diseases. This could also be as a result less blood circulation to the hands due to plaque build up in your hands blood vessels.

If you are really worried, try going to your doctor. The earlier you find out what you have the better. Early detection and taking action to fix it will minimize the damage it causes.

I hope this information helped. Take care.

Either you have a sodium deficiency, or you need to see a chiropractor because a nerve is pinched.
The sodium deficiency is common, because it is summer. Most people crave salads in the summer because of this. Another quick fix is to get some Alfalfa tablets from the health food store and take a few with meals. These have both electrolytes: potassium and sodium in perfect balance and bio-available to the body... and they also contain some chlorophyll, which will help you smell better when you sweat.
