I know, I am conservative though, but I see it more on the liberal sides. All they do is complain about America, why the heck don't you move somewhere else if you don't like it so much?
And you're exactly right. People complain that they can't say this and that and do this or that, but if you were to do those things in other countries, you could be killed. People take so much for granted.
Overall, I love my country, and I'm proud.
I like your party, maybe I should join. :)

I think "liberals" might hestitate to simply say yes i love this country, because of the current issues of the country. It doen't mean they don't love this country, just that they disapprove of what's going on in the country. There is alot of things going on that people don't like. Many people, like me, can't believe we have someone, like we do, running the country. And it's hard to say you love something you see as so recently flawed. i'm not a liberal, nor republican or democrat,i'm an independent, but i do love this country, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Remember Change for Changes sake can be a bad thing.
But I think you are in the right direction. We need pride in America like I remember when I was growing up.
Things do feel like they have gone in a different direction and maybe they were this way when I was a kid and I was either sheltered from them or didn't see them.
But I would really like to see American pride in something other than Military Services and Country Concerts again.

I'm a liberal. I love America. This doesn't mean that it's perfect, but I love my mom, and she's not perfect either. One's got nothing to do with the other.

Good for you!
DOH! you had to go and ruin it with the silly right-wing over-generalizations.
your comment is like saying...I love my country, just hate its people!
Loving one's country means a person has the common sense not to fall for blind patriotism.
