i downloaded a 400 MB game recently, but it doesnt work.?

when i start the game..my monitor goes off..and i can only hear the sound...all function buttons of the monitor satrt blinking. wat might b the reason and suggest some method to avoid this and so that i can play this game!plzzz help!!!

Perhaps you are just using onboard graphics which can not cope w/ the minimum requirements of the game.

BUT you could give this a try. Under Settings in Display Properties, reduce color quality to 16 bits instead of 32. Then adjust screen resolution one step downward. Try opening the game.

If this does not work, consider a more powerful graphics card.

There is a compatibility issue with the games and your monitor. Your monitor is probably not meeting the minimum system requirement for the game to play.

Go back to where you downloaded the game and find out what is the minimum system requirement to play the game and compare it to your system especially your monitor.
