Politics are now benifiting politicians. I feel Youngsters are more matured and ethical than the present politicians. We really need to do some thing to change the trend and Youngsters need to choose poitics as professions.

I find that the best way to affect politics is by *not* becoming a politician.
Citizens have the power - way more so than the people behind desks with their hands tied.
We can vote, we can write letters, we can demonstrate, we can blog (or talk freely on yahoo answers), we can change the channel from Fox "News" to something more valid like CSPAN.
I think that American History in High School should be expanded to include a whole class on Government.
There is no reason for people to not know that Gore won the popular vote and Bush won via the electoral college.
Most people don't know what the term Gerrymandering means either.
Most people are also unfamiliar with the basic function of senators and house reps are.
Just because you know about these things doesn't mean that young people do... I actually think that education in this country is getting worse because teachers tell kids to just look things up on the internet... and there are all sorts of lies on the internet now.

they decide to be a politician when they get out of Law School , 99% of politicians are lawyers , and once they cre in the mix for awhile they too will be just as low of a snake as the rest of them , Jsut like Obama, and Romney who invested stocks in China's economy after they seen how Hillary made her millions after her husband Bill opened the door for mass trading with China , then took that money ,and invested it to companies who would do more business with Sudan while they used our money to help out Darfur , Besides that was it not Clinton ( Bill ) who said we need to build bridges at our borders , not walls ....look how that has benifited America , the politicians who have degrees' in trade law and other law degrees made a killing while all of our 20 dollar or more per hour textile workers are now employed by wal mart at 5 something per hour . Now the Democrats want to again " better America" with universal health care , by the way they have investements with the main insurance company that will be in charge of this universal health also. They want to save all the money for medicare, and medicaid for their pocket and have a great excuse to raise our income tax by at least another 20% more than it already is just to start , and then America's fading middle class , will be gone because we will be paying for all of the drug junkies in hollywood to get this BS hundred grand per week re-hab , we will be paying for their plastic surgery , and the worst thing is trying to find a doctor who is going to work making a quarter of what he makes now , or did you actully think the congress. was going to pay the doctors more than than what they make as a senator , not counting the tax increases when all medical staff becomes federal employees and we the people have to pick up the tab for "bigger govt. . I do not know about everyone else , But I can get along just fine with any of this politician so called " Progress for America" and I will never have to live with the fact that a child I raised has become successful by lying , stealing , and backstabbing ,the working class of America , I would be locked up for child abuse if my kids ever done half the crap politicians do .
Those who do not play the political game do not last long in that game , there are too many out there waiting to be a team player , and If my son ever says he wants to be in politics I will whip his @ss like it has never been whipped before
