I've always been wondering about how this works. My Grandfather is 100% German, but My Grandmother is not. How much percentage of german would I be then? More than 50%?

is it possible aliens live at the bottom of the ocean like atlantis** and they designed these deep sea creatures** that look like they're from another planet..they don't look like they're from earth..they glow in the deepest part of the ocean and they're eyes look like roswell aliens.they're scary too..like the kracken stories..maybe they were designed to keep humans away from them using giant sharks and monster fishes?

Jesus´s action in allowing himself to be crucified when he could prevent it (after all he was God or so some people say, so he could do anything ) was surely suicide in some form. Preachers always tell us to be like Jesus. So should we commit suicide too?

If I walked through some dodgy area at dead of night and was accosted by some guy with a knife or gun who threatened to kill me, and I could escape but chose not to, wouldn´t that be suicide?

I did martial arts for almost ten years but have not been training for the past five years. I started my own club now but I do not know how many years you need to train to get 1st dan and from there on up to all the rest of the black belt dans. I also see some stiles stop at 5th dan but others pass to 8th dan. Can some of you clear this for me up? I want comments from all styles of martial arts.

I have a rant to make.

There is a general impression in the US, particularly among the left, that anyone who has amassed great wealth has done it sneakily, possibly illegally, and if nothing else, by exploiting the poor and middle class. Consequently, their wealth should be seized and redistributed to the working and impoverished classes.

I think that's foolish. The whole idea is foolish. Wealth is not something that you accumulate on luck alone. It's a mindset and an attitude. If we took a rich man and a poor man, and divided the rich man's money equally between them, I bet more than anything in a few years you'd see the rich man emerge still a rich man if not richer, and the poor man remain poor. Money, to me, does nothing but grant you power. How you use the power is what determines your status.

My point is that wealthy people, in general, have probably become wealthy through their own means.

I've decided to go on a hardcore nothing but healthy food diet. Cereal for breakfast, tuna 2 pieces of 100% whole wheat bread and water for lunch, yogurt for snack, broccoli for dinner. Workout 7:00-8:30 (run walk crunches push ups leg lifts jumping jacks) How much weight would I lose in 8 days if I followed this diet? I really want to lose maybe up to 15 pounds and I don't care what it takes to get there, I just need to shed a few more pounds.
