I was baptised yesterday and it was cold winter. When I was in the water, my eyes were opened and after emerging I was shivering. However, I still feel the same as before as though nothing has changed. But my church believes that baptism is necessary for salvation and that in Romans 6 it is said baptism 'puts you onto Christ'. However I was plagued with severe doubt and emotional distress after my baptism as I didn't experience happiness and peace. Does anyone know what's going on? Should I be rebaptised?

PS: I was very nervous before my baptism.

Then in the end, will choose which he wants to keep and don't? Isn't that a little bit mean of him? Like a question I saw, why does he want us to worship him? Is he a vain God? He created us so he can be worshiped and if we don't then he will throw us in Hell?? Why would He do that? Why not create us all good, banish Hell? I mean just create Heaven in the first place? Not let people suffer. Not let people have wars. WHY WHY WHY????

My daughter would like to trace her father (she has not seen him since she was 3mths old). She is a mother herself and would like to meet her biological father. I don't have the money to hire anyone but don't know how to use the net to find him.
I have no problem with him I just need to be there for her whatever the outcome.

So I live in california and today my friend and i was just driving him around to do some stuff and just hung out hes also my cousins husband well hes 27 and im 18. So our last stop was at Rite Aid and he wanted to get some beer so he went and got it and im just following him we go up to the reggister and the man asked for his ID he showed him and im just minding my own buisness and he askes for mine and i tell him im under 21 and im just driving him around so the man says "im sorry but its against the law, we cant sell you this beer because you are with a minnor" so my friend start to kinda argue with him and i just tell him lets go. So we get in the car and he gets out to talk to the manager but there is no manager and the only other person working agrees with the man. So is what he saying true even if your over 21 and have and ID and money you cant buy alchohol if you have a minnor with you?

On hearing the news that police suspect that Madeleine may be dead, without informing the McCanns firsthand ....

He seems to get angry quite a lot when things don't go his way.

Is it just the hazy sky where I am (Wisconsin), or is this shower shaping up to be...well, less than a shower? If we were talking weather I don't think I would have needed an umbrella. I was out for about half an hour, 3am to 3:30am Central time, and I don't think I saw ten Perseids. Heck, I think I only saw about 3 Perseids for every random meteor (3 or so of those). I'd heard estimates of 1-2 meteors per minute. Anybody else see a better show than I did?
