My daughter would like to trace her father (she has not seen him since she was 3mths old). She is a mother herself and would like to meet her biological father. I don't have the money to hire anyone but don't know how to use the net to find him.
I have no problem with him I just need to be there for her whatever the outcome.
I know he moved down to London/South a few years ago

I know this sounds simple and stupid, but most people today do not even consider this for an option. Check the phone book or phone directory. Most people are usually listed in it. Also, if you know what type of work he does you can check any professional association that he might belong to. There are many ways of finding someone on the cheap, but I need more details to be able to help you out. Try searching his name on the internet with other info about him that might be essential. Try contacting his family also if you know any of them.

The ones I can think of are friendsreunited (if you know what school he went to), facebook, myspace etc. You can just do searches on his name. They aren't the traditional ways I guess, but you could get lucky...
