Is it just the hazy sky where I am (Wisconsin), or is this shower shaping up to be...well, less than a shower? If we were talking weather I don't think I would have needed an umbrella. I was out for about half an hour, 3am to 3:30am Central time, and I don't think I saw ten Perseids. Heck, I think I only saw about 3 Perseids for every random meteor (3 or so of those). I'd heard estimates of 1-2 meteors per minute. Anybody else see a better show than I did?

I am out in the country, so I didn't have much in the way of light pollution to contend with--just a lot of haze, I guess. Thanks for the answers so far!
