What would be your coping method?

If i know the temperature of a mass of black coffee (say 0.4kg at 350K) and I know the mass and temperature of some milk (say 0.1kg at 280K) and i assume that both of these have the same specific heat capacity, how do i go about determining the final temperature of the coffee when the milk is added?

I'm just looking for the relevant equations to use really rather than being given the answer

From today's Mirror - (cheers Shambo, not to piggyback off your question!)

"Kate even joked that Madeleine is probably giving her kidnapper a taste of her forceful character.

She said: "Madeleine is such a sociable child, so funny and engaging.

"She has a lot of personality. Her name actually means 'tower of strength'.

"She hated it when we called her Maddie. She'd say 'My name is Madeleine' with an indignant look.

"I bet she's giving whoever she's with her tuppence worth."

"Aawitan Kita" (translation: I will sing for you) was a program that irritated a lot of people, and at the same time had a loyal fan base.

I do not know if it still airs as a special. What did you think of this show?

okay i dont know for sure if my cat has ringworm because i havent taken her to the vet yet but i described her symptoms on here and people said it sounded like ringworm...and i was just wondering how a cat can get ringworm other than from humans...cuz a couple of days ago a squirrel was eating from our bird feeder and my mom opened our sliding door and my cat got out and chased the squirrel up the tree. soo high that you couldnt see her or the squirrel and i dont know if maybe she got bitten or scratched by that squirrel and it had ringworm and gave it to her...if squirrels can even have ringworm... i was just wondering how cats get ringworm in the first place and if the whole squirrel, tree, cat, scratch, bite, ringworm thing is possible...

I was thinking that buying a TV tuner and using it with my laptop would be a cheaper alternative to buying a television for college. If I have a TV tuner, do I still have to pay a monthly bill for cable or digital cable or whatever? Or do I just install the tuner and I can automatically watch TV?

I've done all the letter, got a letter back from HSBC saying they are going to refund me £750.

I got this letter on 27th July, posted the acceptance slip back by special delivery, checked online to make sure they received the letter etc.

On the slip it said it can take up to 14 working days to refund the money into my account, this is nearly up.

Did anyone else have to wait the full 14 working days or wait more than etc?

Many thanks in advance x

5 minutes just to get it in properly bcoz it hurt too much I couldn't bear to open my legs wide enough. The doc said I have very low pain tolerance. The scrapping part (to get a sample) is relatively painless though. Care to share your experience?

I'm taking my (slightly) better half to New York this new year, for his 30th birthday.
I was looking for ideas on where we could dine preferably somewhere with a Times Square view (to avoid being a sardine)
Or is there anything on in Central Park/Empire State Building at midnight?
Does anyone also knoware the shops open on the 1st of January?
Many many thanks.
