What is it with this girl at my work? Everytime we're alone together she's nice to me but when we're with someone senior to us she always makes me seem stupid. I am sick of it. Should I tell her something or just distance myself from her? What's her problem? I am always nice to her and help her out a lot.

a Urinary Tract infection. i have had cramps the whole time that i have been pregnant and everyone kept telling me it was normal! then the pains got unbearable so now i find out that it is a urine infection and i have to go get some antibiotics in a about an hour, but my question is can this have harmed my baby as i have had the cramps for so long? i have read that utis cant harm your baby as long as they catch it early enough, but how long do you have to have the infection before it is too late? i am currently 18 weeks preg, my last scan was at 12 weeks and everything was ok

The guy in the federal prison system that has proven that he can't live or function in normal society to such a degree that he'll never contribute to it in a positive way gets all his needs taken care of.

many of the prisoners at Gitmo aren't terrorists...but some are. These people that would kill the children of the "Great Satan" (USA) by the millions if they could? THEY get taken care of with the best we have to offer. They get preventative MRIs for heaven's sake.

If THESE people get it and it's fine, why is government sponsored, single-payer care bad for me? Someone who contributes. Someone who is a decent person and has never purposely harmed another, why do I (or you) deserve less than these people?

Whats some good combinations of fish for a 55 gal aquarium? i want something with color, and not all small fish. have any ideas? i like angels and catfish type things or cichilids. i know they cant all be together so give me some good combos, such as like 4 angels and like 1 plecostomus or something. thanks. best combo gets 10 points

What is the best laptop out there, that i can use for music, videos, Instant Messaging, Internet, typing, among other things. I have heard the Macbook Pro is a good laptop since it can do both mac and windows pc applications but requires you to buy the windows program. So what is the best laptop out there, price doesnt really matter but i would like it under 4,000.

When an interviewer ask the question "where do you see yourself 5 years from now", I just want to scream or tell them, "hopefully it won't be here kissing butts, scraping to get a promotion"; I also would like to say, "I plan on being financially independent", but I know that wouldn't go well for hiring purposes! I really wonder what kind of answer they are looking for. I know that within 5 years I would probably be looking for a new job. I would need it to help dislodge me from the stagnated condition that the prior job left me in, after the challenge was gone and my salary was capped! Besides that, with the job situation today, you have to be multi-talented and ready to get layed off, due to downsizing, bankruptcy, or whatever. You can't bank on the hope of retiring after "x" amount of years like it used to be!
If you've ever been asked that question during an interview, what kind of answer did you give? Any interviewers out there, what kind of answer are you looking for?

My mother married a man when I was three that was extremely abusive towards me, they divorced when I was 12. I am now 22 and still feeling still extremely hurt and sad. My mother denies much of what happened when I was young. I have tried to forgive her for what happened. But I find myself unable to forgive her every time I see her I feel sad, and worthless. I do not know how fix this. I have tried to talk to her and tell her how I feel and she gets very angry and says nothing happened and won't talk to me for months. I have younger brothers and I don't want to be kept away from them, but it is also killing me going to her house and pretending everything okay. I don't know how to find closure and finally feel peace. They only family I have is my mother and brothers and I don't want to lose them, but seeing my mother makes me feel worthless. Please help.

I love pepperoni pizza. Since I became a Vegatarian I stopped eating pepperoni pizza. But I am not that big of a fan of cheese. So, the amount of cheese added onto the pepperoni or whats left after I take out the pepperoni is just enough cheese for me to enjoy the sauce as well. But I've been told by others that it's hypocritcal of me to buy a pepperoni pizza, evne though I remove the pepperoni. I guess I could order the pizza with light cheese and extra sauce. What do you think?..
