What is the best laptop out there, that i can use for music, videos, Instant Messaging, Internet, typing, among other things. I have heard the Macbook Pro is a good laptop since it can do both mac and windows pc applications but requires you to buy the windows program. So what is the best laptop out there, price doesnt really matter but i would like it under 4,000.

Well, don't think mac books cant get viruses. They can its just that hackers usually make viruses that corrupt windows operating systems, not the famed mac os. so if you're running windows on the mac book it'll be as vulnerable as any other computer. just get an av program and any computer should be protected from viruses. the best bet with laptops would probably be a Toshiba satellite but this is on quality for the money basis. mac books run on an average of 1500 bucks and you really need to get a warranty on them. so in the end it'll be 2000 after shipping, warranty, tax etc. Then there are the real machines, like the alien ware area 51m which run around 4 grand. Asus also has an great notebook model out called the Lamborghini. HP has pretty decent laptops and dell really has an amazing model which the model is xps 2010. The problem with dells is that the support stinks and parts will dig deep into your wallet.

apple macbook pro. just buy a copy of windows, and parallels for mac.

I heard it doesnt get virus-barely.
my cousin has one, and she said that it works sooo good. like, she practically downloads everything
