You should not be bleeding like you're having a period, if in fact you are pregnant. Did you take a pregnancy test or a blood test?
This could be a miscarriage or some other problem. Please call your doctor so that you can be seen right away.

Call the doctor! Some women bleed lightly in pregnancy but it could be a sign on a miscarriage. I bled lightly and had slight cramps and it was a miscarriage - you need to rule this possibility out.
I hope this is only spotting - good luck with the pregnancy.

It's not your period. It could be implantation bleeding. Or signs of a miscarriage. You should definitely call your OBGYN and ask them about the bleeding; tell them how much it is and see if that's normal or not. They may want you to come in. I'm 7 wks prg and haven't bled since my last period, 6/18!!

I suggest you contact your OB immediately, you can not have a period while you are pregnant. However you can bleed, but if you are bleeding as much as you say you are I would have some concern, So my best advice would be to go to the doctor and have some test ran just to be safe. Good Luck!

Make sure that you tell the doctor about it. I had light bleeding throughout my pregnancy daily. The placenta was trying to tear away from the lining of the uterus. There is a technical term for this but for the life of me I can't remember. Anyway.... my son was born and seemed healthy enough but as he got older we started noticing differences. He is now 5 and has finally got a diagnosis. He has Aspergers Syndrome which from what I understand is a form of high functioning autism. So please make sure you let the doctor know what's going on because you never know how it may affect your baby.
