I am completely lost - tonight my husband told me over the phone that he would just like to be friends and not in a relationship anymore - he wants to live at our house and have me still work in our business but other than that lead seperate lives and just remain friends - I on the other hand feel crushed and very alone.

Im completely lost as nobody in my family is divorced or even seperated I dont know how I should be feeling right now - I dont know but I suspect he might be seeing someone else or wants to see someone else - in the last 2 weeks he has become very distant and barely even talks to me.

We have been together for 10 years and married for 7 years.

We have a 4 year old daughter I dont know how to tell her whats going on especially when I dont know myself and have never seen this situation in my family before.

Is it fair that he tells me he wants to be friends but still live and work with me?

Can anyone give me advice as to what to do? What steps should I take?

OK, second job in healthcare setting. First job, doc was b****, stayed a year and couldnt handle it any more. Next, went to a surgery center. I thought this was "the one" Turns out instead of catering to one b****, I am being ordered around by several nurses.
Is it me? good grief.
I am always told that "its that way everywhere"

Supervisors at a meatpacking plant have fired dozens of Somali Muslim employees for trying to pray at sunset. The five - ten minute prayer, known as Maghrib, must be done within a 45 minute window around sunset according to Muslim rules. Surrounding this controversy is an ex employee, Muhammad Rage, who says at least two dozen employees have been fired. A company rep says they were fired for reasons related to the issue, and that was for walking off the line without permission, not for praying. He said that unscheduled breaks can force unplanned shutdowns of lines.

I am a new breeder and I just got my female and babies. I'm a little scard because I heard baby lizards die fast. I gave them some ants and they LOVED it! I want to know what kinds of other foods I can feed them. The babies are brown anoles. The mother doesn't care for them at all so I'm sure that means I'm the new mother. The mother is like a light red, VERY PRETTY!!! As soon as I find a good male for her I would like to sell the babies I have now. Until then, how do I care for my baby lizards like a real mother lizard would????

I'm not looking for a professional, just someone who has had experience in portraits and knows their way around their own camera. Is there an easy way to advertise for this? I've thought about advertising at local colleges in like their art department where there might be photography students who need the experence and wouldn't be too expensive. Advertising at a grocery store or a gas station seems a little tacky. I've been on websites like flickr and photoreflect.com but the few promising photographers I've seen have not gotten back to me. Any other suggestions?

My best friend and I have been living together for about 4 years. I bought my own home about 2 years ago and she's been living with me ever since. We get along great; everything's fine. Anyways, I have been dating somebody for over a year now and we have talked about moving in together. Now, I would never, ever kick my friend out with out her having somewhere to go, but within the next year (probably next March), I would like to tell her, as gently as possibly, that me and so and so want to move in together and would like her to start looking for her own place. How is the best way to do so without her getting angry, or feeling abandoned? She makes decent money, so there's no reason why she couldn't find a good place, but what scares me is she does have it pretty made at my house. I want her to realize she can't live with me forever; that I need to think about my future. Also, I can't do the me, my man and my friend living together thing - that's just weird to me. Any suggestions?

i often have to consult the IT guys at my work about projects. the one who is on my floor was obnoxious and condescending initially, then i told him off and he said he was trying to be "oddly" funny and he's just like that. since i started, ive always caught him checking me out and he was nice after that. then we were kind of jokey, friendly with one another. it was sort of flirty and he would blush, trip. yesterday, i went over just to say hi, because i was on break, which i never do, and he was totally obnoxious/weird. he was like what do you need. i said i came to say hi. he says hi obnoxiously. i say, you're giving me a mean look. he gets flustered and starts talking about the color printer. i get curt and leave. i didnt say hi the rest of the day but he kept looking at me when we passed each other. cant make out how to act with him? should i just avoid him? he is 43 (i am 25) and english and always stares at my boobs/butt in addition, which makes it evenmore weird.

One keeps hearing that "The Consensus" of scientist believe that man is causing climate warming. Who chose these people as voting members of "The Consensus" anyway? (Remember a consensus is 50% +1) and why do we believe that if 50%+1 of a group thinks something is real, that it must be true?

Why ignore the thousands of scientist who state that man has no influence over the climate? On what scientific basis do you choose to believe one group over another? Or do you just know in your heart that one side is right, and believe them because it makes you feel good emotionally? Is your emotions scientifically sound?

Science does not need a consensus to determine what the facts are. Science needs just one man who can prove he is right. No, the only group that needs a consensus is politics.
