The job I'm in currently has no women in the office. At first I felt a little lonely with no other women around, but then I came to realize - there's no drama here! As much as women don't like to admit that they're drama, we are when placed together for a long enough period of time. It is my opinion that nearly every job where women work together will have at least one b*tch in the office... I don't envy you, but I'll be changing jobs soon enough and will probably be right where you are now.

I feel for ya! I think it is like that in almost every career field. I worked retail for years, and it felt like high school sometimes! I love my job now, no drama, just a few employees, it's great! If you are good at what you do, I would apply at different places and when you interview, ask THEM questions about the atmosphere. Let them know that you care about the work environment, and you will do your best in a professional one. If they give you a strange look, then that's probably not the office for you. I don' t know how big your area is, but my ex here did that(he was tired of working with catty women,) and he finally found one where the atmosphere was respectful. Best wishes!

Unfortunately the medical field is heavily populated with women and many have been entrenched for years. You may want to consider working for a "doc in the box" office or for an agency that sends you to different sites. You get a variety of assignments and if you find one you like, you can always drop them a resume.

When you experience the same issues at several jobs, you have to ask yourself what the common denominator is and frankly speaking, it's you.
I've always found it easier to work for men. Perhaps you should find a job where the employees are predominantly male.

I think that no matter where you work there is going to be grouchy women to work with. That has been the case for me at least. Just try to keep a positive attitude and be nice even when they are being mean. This seems to make them mad. lol

It is difficult to work with people like that, because you feel a lack of respect. No one likes to be dictated to or treated that way, and yes when people say they are everywhere, they really are! In some way no matter where you go, there will always be that one.

Yes, they are everywhere. It's the nature of the beast. Men are a little more subtle.
