hook up to a 4 ch. amp. w/o mods or add ons or do i need more rca cables in the rear of unit. basically how many rca jacks does the unit come w/ from factory?

I don't really like the way Pioneer sets up the pre-outs on this deck.

Basically you have two sets of pre-amp outputs: a front output and a sub output. The sub output can be set for full-range, non-fader output but it can't be used as a rear output (as far as adjusting the fader control is concerned).

In other words, if you're using the 4-channel amp to run two speakers and a subwoofer, this deck's output configuration is ideal. If, on the other hand, you want to use the amp to run front and rear speakers, you'll lose your fade functions. As far as I can tell, there's no way around that with this deck.
