I have seen this many times. They look like 2 balls in a bag (ok, they look like scrotum). They are usually hanging from the underside of a pick-up truck towards the rear end. What is it? I often wonder why would any one hang something like that.

Hello:
Could somebody explain me what is the difference (if any) between a chaotical behaviour and a random behaviour? What I know is that, for example, a butterfly path is chaotic, also, the path of the smoke of a cigarette, and the diffusion of a drop of ink in a glass of water, because in all these cases you can't predict how the particles (or objects) will move. That seems to be random, isn't that? Thanks

I'm no expert but was curious if anyone else had considered that the virtual anhiliation of the Native Americans had some eery similarities to Nazism.

I fail to see how the trail of tears is much different than a train ride in a cattle car to Auschwitz.

I fail to see how a gas chamber is much different than a knowingly pox infested blanket delivery or hail of bullets at women and children.

I don't want to invalidate the significance of either event. Just wish to draw some lines of conclusion.

Perhaps we should redefine the lines of propriety and redefine whom is a savage.

I am buying a bass boat because I am an avid fisherman and was wondering if it is possible to pull a skier or a tube or something with it. It has a mercury 115 outboard motor and the boat is 16 ft long. Any thoughts?

The income tax wasn't adopted until 1913 with the ratification of the 16th Amendment: "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Before that, the USA somehow managed to grow to be a world power.
What if the income tax were repealed and people got to actually keep ALL the money they earned. Would the economy collapse, anarchy reign, civilization be destroyed?
Or would things actually get better for most people, except the politicians who have become addicted to our money?

Take a minute and consider all the things that have changed in the last 100 years. How many of those changes were brought about by a relatively small number of people or even one person (crybaby) through the power of the courts and legislature, even though the majority of the public did not want any changes to be brought about. How many laws, court rulings etc. have there been that were in favor of the minority rather that the majority?

You are on a train that is traveling at 3.0 m/s along a level straight track. Very near and parallel to the track is a wall that slopes upward at a 12° angle with the horizontal. As you face the window (0.85 m high, 1.8 m wide) in your compartment, the train is moving to the left, as the drawing indicates. The top edge of the wall first appears at window corner A and eventually disappears at window corner B. How much time passes between appearance and disappearance of the upper edge of the wall?
