the way she met him was when she was well...a hooker
and he was her "client"
i made a big deal out of hating him becuase of that and they've been going out for a year and i still have'nt met him
im not sure its right to judge him becuase of how they met and just in general the effect hes had on my mom
so i was thinking of letting him meet me
but while doing something i enjoy so i dont waste the whole day if i end up not likeing him still
also im living with my dad now, and he doesn't want me meeting him or especially hanging around with him.
i said to my mom i was thinking about letting him meet me
but i can't tell my dad if i do.
which just feels really wrong, becuase i dont like lieing to him
so to get to the point i was wondering what all of you think would be best meeting him or not..i mean hes a big part of my moms life now but im just not sure..
what would some of you do in this situation.*?

So is it possible for a human being to be happy if this person does not strive or look towards something other then him/herself?
With self-transcendence I mean love to somebody or something other then oneself, or faith in GOD, or fulfilling a goal or a task which does not concentrate on ones own physical and emotional well-being.

We were very close friends for like ten years, recently she forgot my birthday because she only cares about the drama she created for herself by getting pregnant from her "stay at home" (not working since three yrs ago, not looking for a job either) boyfriend of ten years who is still married to a woman he left with a child.
She always complains about not having enough money to live the life (above her means) that she and her boyfriend like. She tells pretty much all her friends and family the same sad tale and them clearly expresses her expectations of people giving her money for her trips, vacations or credit card bills.
I feel that by cashing the check I give her permission to bug me even more with her sad stories, expecting me to shed money at her smallest "HINT"

Lots of memory for sure. WINDOWS IS A MUST. Built in wireless. doesn't heat up. average size screen is okay, like the Compaq Presario C500T. has double click(tap) feature. Lots of gig and ram. has all the specifications for current gaming/entertainment. education use- easy to use, lots of features.

Sorry for the weird typing, I didn't have enough time, these are my specifications. I want to know what laptop/notebook has these general specifications. Doesn't have to be exact. I don't care about the cost.

this one guy goes blind and puts a white bandana around his eyes. some other guy lets him in his apartment. he gives the blind guy a bunch of strings that are attatched to different objects around the house, then leaves. the blind guy follows a string that leads to the fridge and finds a jug of milk,drinks it, and finds that it's chunky. later in the movie these robotic spiders search the building and the blind guy has to hold his breathe in the bathtub so that they wont find him. this has been troubling me for awhile..
