It seemed like a old game show. Like 60s(but could be 70s). I remember that there was people watching, but they would not help her. It was like everyone was brain washed to think it was fake, but she know it was real.

I first saw this movie in the mid 90s to late, but it could have come out before then(more likely).

umm... Requiem for a Dream has a character who thinks she's in a game show.. but she isn't really.. and then the movie Shock Treatment.. (Richard O'brien's follow up to Rocky Horror Picture Show) is sort of like a game show..

It may have been the movie "Stay Tuned" with John Ritter. There was a game show scene, and it came out in the 90's.
