It probably is a pimple or ingrown hair. If it doesn't go away in a week or 2, go to your doctor.

What do you mean by "inside your crotch"? Do you mean in your vagina? Or is it on your vulva?

I don't know about inside the vagina, but if it's on your vulva, it could easily just be a pimple or ingrown hair. Make an appointment with a doctor and get an STD check (including a herpes test since many times they don't automatically test for that) to make sure it's nothing more serious than that. Most towns have a county health department that has a free or cheap STD clinic. Make an appointment just to be sure.

*OK I see your additional details - Since it's inside the vagina, don't drive yourself crazy wondering and trying to figure it out. Make that doctor's appointment so you'll have peace of mind.

define inside of crotch. If it is inside the vagina, that's not a good thing and you should go see a doctor. If it is inside the crotch area, it could be an STD if you are sexually active, or it could be something as simple as a pimple or an ingrown hair.

It probably is a pimple.

just be sure to wash and rinse well/gently the next couple of days and it should go away, like a regular pimple.

some women get them, some dont...

If you haven't been sexually active, it could just be an ingrown hair. If you have been sexually active you should go to your doctor or a clinic.
