Without a single doubt !!
To any observer in almost any envoirnment and running a full spectrum across almost every single type of animal -- careful attention will reveal a wide range of emotions within the animal kingdom !!
I had a dog that had an unbelievable sense of HUMOR !! She was not the absolute Smartest dog that I have ever owned -- but she had a sense of humor that I still can not get a grip on to this day !! She would do little things that she knew was unique and "peculiar" and then she would look up at you and just SMILE -- I'll swear that I've seen her actually LAUGH on occasions !!

Of course animals have emotions, silly! Don't u see that when u kick a dog it bites back? Why do u think he does that? Because he feels bad! The best observable answer that I can give u is the dog. Observe a dog, and u will actually find urself knowing when he is happy or sad. All animals exhibit emotions, its just that some animals are more expressive, while some are not.

i believe animals have emotions because i have 2 dogs and Ive become aware of their emotion. sometimes they may be unset where they just lay around the house and not want to do anything. other time they are happy and bounce around the house without a care in the world. most people over look things like that. they think well their just animals, but that's not true. animals are just like us.

sure, haven't you ever seen that look of gulit on a dog that know's he's done something wrong. Or what about that puffed up quivering of a frightened cat? A dog will wag it's tail when it's happy, it'll tell you when it wants to play. Birds fall in love and even mate for long periods of time. How could animals not have emotions?

Yeah, I know they do! My cat Sandy meows for us with a beine baby horse in her mouth while walking around the house with it. She probably thinks we're gone somewhere and feels worried and lonley.(she does this for about a week after my family goes on vacation or on sundays during the school year) I know animals have emotions!
