Because it is a part of life.

Because it is right before the last chapter of our lives. BUT, the last chapter is not physical death, but rather everlasting life in Heaven or the lake of eternal fire! And we can know this for sure as Almighty God has made this very clear in His Word. To be assured that your FINAL chapter contains joy, total fulfillment and peace, you must choose, believe, trust and love Jesus Christ in this life. If you do not follow Jesus, then you can know that your final chapter is separation from your Lord and you will forever be in the lake of eternal fire, living in misery with no turning back. Keep thinking.......

Physical death is part of life. We all must experience it therefore, why not think about it? I believe that a person's view on it depends upon what they understand happens after death.

Hello there, hope this will answer your question.

When you think of Death around the corner, you will always doing Benefit/Religious works eg charity, helping people etc and Do what God(Allah(swt)) ask you to do in this world, follow the Laws that God(Allah(swt)) have commanded you to do and not wasting your time on the unnecessary things which will not benefit you in the Hereafter/Resurrection Day.

So i can say that people who always think of Death is the most successfully person in this Life and the Hereafter.
Please note that this does not mean that you have to Fear Death.

The only Thing, you have to fear in this world is God(Allah(swt)).

Wallahwaalam

[Quran 36:22-36:27
"And why should I not worship Him (Allah Alone) Who has created me and to Whom you shall be returned. "Shall I take besides Him aliha (gods), if the Most Beneficent (Allah) intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me? "Then verily, I should be in plain error. "Verily! I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me!" It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew! "That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!"]

it's only natural to think about the inevitable, and possibly plan ahead for it (wills etc.). Thinking about it? yes. Obsessing over it? Now that's a different matter

Well, their relative could have died, or they might have read something death-related, or perhaps they themselves are dying. Death is everywhere. It's only natural to think about it.
