this one guy goes blind and puts a white bandana around his eyes. some other guy lets him in his apartment. he gives the blind guy a bunch of strings that are attatched to different objects around the house, then leaves. the blind guy follows a string that leads to the fridge and finds a jug of milk,drinks it, and finds that it's chunky. later in the movie these robotic spiders search the building and the blind guy has to hold his breathe in the bathtub so that they wont find him. this has been troubling me for awhile..

Minority Report (2002) starring Tom Cruise.
In the year 2054 A.D. crime is virtually eliminated from Washington D.C. thanks to an elite law enforcing squad "Precrime". They use three genetically altered humans (called "Pre-Cogs") to see into the future and predict crimes beforehand. Tom Cruise's character heads Precrime and believes the system is flawless, that is until he's predicted to commit a murder. Now he's a wanted criminal who has to go on the run in order to prove his innocence.
In the scene you described he just had an illegal eye transplant surgery so he could avoid being detected by the retinal scanners everywhere (it is the future after all, lol). The doctor leaves him in the room to heal & gives him a couple of strings to make his way around the apartment. One leads to the bathroom & one leads to the kitchen where a sandwich is left for him in the fridge (unfortunately he grabs something rotten instead). When the robotic scanners come he tries to hide in the bathtub to avoid detection. The doctor warned him not to remove the blindfold until his new eyes had time to heal or he could end up blind. Luckily for him, they healed in time.

Minority Report (I just watched that movie a couple of days ago!) Tom Cruise's character gets framed for murder after discovering inconsistencies in evidence of another murder (very general description of the movie).

He had just had his eyes changed. He eas not originally blind however. It was how they change their identity in the future.
