I have a friend who tends to be rather needy. It got to the point where he was having a 'life crisis' every other day and it was really wearing on me. So I told him that I needed my space.

He acted like he acknowledged my request but his barrage of drama filled crises continued. So I decided that I needed a break and stopped responding. Well now he sends me messages and is either like "I was trying to contact you earlier, but I guess you're busy. I just was going to thank you for being a good friend" or "I'm sorry that my best friend doesn't care for me" or he reminds me that his dad is ill or that he suffers from schizophrenia.

Now he told me that if I don't respond, it's going to be detrimental to his health. It's just wearing on me so bad. I don't like being manipulated. I just feel like he just "calls wolf" all the time to get my attention and he never seems to be satisfied with my attention. How do I confront him about his manipulation? Or what should I do? Thank you!!

I have a HP desk top set up with a Terayon Cable Modem by USB (eternet card does not work). I have a Compaq desk top with a Linksys PCI card installed. I am wanting to buy a wireless router so that I can run both computers. I do not know how to hook up the wireless router when I do buy it. Will it matter that the HP's eternet card does not work? Can it be done by the USB port? Please somebody help! Thanks

What should I draw up? a purchase agreement of some sort? anything legal? I am looking at some what of a clean cut deal.. i give 46K and get my name on the deed as an owner of 35%interest. Any insight as to what I should do other than Hire a lawyer.. thanks The other 65% would be owned by my father in law. I am basically buying out his sisters share.

This constant energy/sense cannot die. Your form fades (like that old Polaroid photo!), but energy is constant.

Words! These subtle, yet simple, concepts are so, so difficult to describe. We must keep at it...I guess. Ha ha.

Hello. I have a wireless router and DSL, 4mbits. I have a pc and a laptop. Now, I would like to split connection, so the pc and the laptop could connect to the internet, 2mbits each. How can I do this. Because when I'm downloading something on the pc, connection on the laptop is like 100 kbps. I was looking in my router configuration, but I didn't see anything that would do what I need.

Does anyone know the answer?

Yesterday this person was trolling under the name suthrnlytes... she has already posted a few questions under "Better than clones" but she's not the original better than clones. She decided to use my profile information and make up a Crazy angry response that she's claiming to be made by me. HA ha.. This person is the one who goes around and tries to take over everyones name who makes her mad. She's a Angry little Liberal with No sense of Humor. She thinks she's funny, but really she's not. All her jokes are the same.

I'm just here to let you guys Know who the Troll is today, Just avoid her and whatever you do don't give her what she wants and that's to go back and look at her response to yours...
