Get kosher dogs, regardless of your religion. They're all-beef, and they're very strict in what cuts of beef they use. Their packing plants are also under strict sanitary guidelines. And the dogs taste great.

I prefer Hebrew National Reduced Fat Beef Franks.

Hebrew National, they are the best. I'm not Jewish but I can tell a kosher dog from 1 that isn't.
I usually go for the reduced fat version, because the no fat 1 doesn't taste as good.

If it is for me, I buy the cheapest (nastiest) hot dogs then hide them under good chili, salsa, and cheese.

If anyone else is eating I usually buy Nathan's all beef, or Foster Farms for my no beef friends. Most of my vege friends prefer Yves meatless franks or Morning Star meatless sausage.

If they made ostrich hot dogs I would buy them all the time. All the flavor, low fat, and taste better.

Hummell, or Smokehouse Franks. Both of them are amazing on the grill!
