It seems that people either ask a question and then answer their own question, or use this space as a platform to criticise others (Jews, Muslims, atheists). Is that normal? Is that Christian? I'm curious to hear what people from across the Christian spectrum think, as I thought there used to be, and least from time to time, a much more "live and let live" philosophy.

I just read a question/comment from this truely ignorant person who stated that all the "white people" were crawling out of their trailers to get Micheal Vick. He even compair Vick to OJ Simpson.
I happen to be a white man who is the parent of three bi-racial children (their mom is black). My three boys enjoy to watch Micheal Vick play the game but as far as a pro athelete who they look up to and idolize they all have chosed someone who I think is a class act all the way and people like Micheal Vick, Pacman Jones and Tank Johnsoon could learn alot from and that is Donovan McNabb. Yes I said it, I the white man, root and support for Donovan McNabb. He has realized that pro sports atheletes are people our youth look up to and instead of thugging it out he has chosen to act with class and dignity. If everyone was so racist and just wants to see a black man down why aren't more people going after McNabb, he makes much more money than Vick, could it be because he acts Human?

i saw this movie several months ago-not in the theater i watched it on tv.its .theres a a girl and a young boy who move to a big creepy house owned by their grandfather i think and the boy starts seeing ghosts. later in the movie it turns out the grandfather is a member of this wierd cult that needed a few more kids to sacrifice.on the floor of the living room was a star/circle thing...i dont remember much more.my friend told me that was the messengers but i didnt go to the theater to see that film and i havent rented it.

Need a "horse fix". Miss being around (training, grooming, cleaning 31 stalls each day) Need a vacation. Why not do both?

Would love to ride Egypt on a lovely Arabian horse. A riding friend of mine used to take "Horse Trecks" totally horseback for days/week. I know it's available, can't find the link - End of Internet boundry reached. "My kingdom for a horse."

I'd even consider (love) going to a working ranch and shoveling poops (ahhh, Chanel #5) in exchange for riding, archaeology on the side would be fabulous. (have trowel, will travel - that was digging at the Ghost Ranch in NM)

I ramble. Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated. Apologies if my preference for 'Aye-rabs' offends, it is my passion, all things equine are equally beautiful.

The condom broke during sex and 14 days later we tested to see if she was pregnant since she had yet to have her period. The test was negative but she still didnt have her period by monday so she went to the doctor. She said the doctor test came up positive. I wasnt present and I dont trust her. She is under a lot of stress and lonely. I know its wrong but I think she is trying to pull the old "keep-a-man baby."

I have two parking tickets. I want to appeal them. In one, I'm blatently guilty. I was parked on the road in front of my house when the sign said "no parking on Monday from 7AM - 5PM." The other was for an expired meter. On that one, I actually thought the meter was busted...and the ticketing officer got the color of my car wrong (wrote "grey" when it is actually blue). The two tickets total $90...they're my first tickets in the city of Albany. I got them a day apart. Can I successfully appeal these mothers? If so, how? Thanks!

No doubt I will get hails of abuse for posing this question...

In my mind, the internet should model the real world. I.E. people should treat each other with the same respect they would expect in outside world.

Now...lets say you have a conversation with someone in a bar. If you felt their grasp of vocab or pronunciation was not to standard, would you start abusing them?

I would hope not.

What if you go into a restaurant and look at the menu. Then you notice there are spelling mistakes. Would you start calling the owner a retard, or tell them to get a dictionary?

Again, I would hope not.

So why is the net different. In my view, its because you can't see the person. Its easier to be rude to an image or message on the monitor, without associating it with a real computer.

Also about 1 in 10 people in the real world would pop you one on the nose...

just my opinion...

now I think I'll wait for replies full of spell checks....

How do you feel about this?In the era of an unfavorable war,recruits have fallen 15% the last quarter and fell the previous quarter as well for the army.Is this the answer?
Personally,I feel that in order for anyone to become a politician,they must serve a full tour in one of the 4 major branches prior to becoming eligible to represent this country.Maybe single out the guttless and crooked and provide those remaining with a clear view of just how their decisions impact families.
