I usually don't let him because I don't like the way he does things.

I admit, I have my good and bad days. It all depends...
Will you actually tell me what you want, or do I have to guess?
Is there a shot clock on all requests?
Do you include the word "now" at the end of every question, or is that inferred?
Who assumes what the priorities are?
Can I ask you to do things too, or is this just a one way street?
Do you consider the possibility that maybe the house really does look 'just fine', the way it is?
The issue is Mutual Respect, with a little patience thrown in. If both sides don't have that, there's going to be trouble.

Help? This is my man's theory. He makes the money-I take care of the house, the yard and the pool. That's it. I take out the trash. I paint the house and I brush down the pool. When I say paint the house, I mean the inside and outside. My mate did buy me a lighter ladder so I could reach all of the eaves.
He's so thoughtful.

Ask, and ye shall receive :) At least thats what I've discovered.
There is no way that he can read my mind, and to know that I want him to do something. I used to get so frustrated because he wouldnt do the dishes on his own. But, if I ask him if he would mind doing the dishes up, or empty the dishwasher (whatever the chore may be) he gladly helps me...
If you both do it together, it takes half the time, and half the effort... and you both get to spend more time doing stuff you want to do 2gether.

He's very good. He lived alone before we were married, so he knows what it takes to run a house. Plus we have three kids and I would kill him if he didn't help around the house! LOL!

He helps out alot, but sometimes it takes me asking him 10 times to do it. Overall, he's pretty helpful.

It depends, it's really weird.
Sometimes he'll just do everything, sometime's i'll do everything.
But after dinner, if I want him to wash I just ask him and he generally will.
