I post questions now and then. I have never used this as a means of criticizing others.
No, it is not Christian to do that.
In all fairness, I have seen questions posed to Christians that are really a criticism of us:
"Are Christians really so stupid as to believe....??"
"Can God make a rock so big He could not lift it?"
I have also seen atheists and other religions ask a question and then answer it.
There are one or two people in particular who use this as a platform to criticize others through their "questions."
The "live and let live" philosophy would be cool if BOTH sides would adhere to it.
I am sure I will receive numerous thumbs down for daring to suggest that some of the atheists are guilty of this kind of bevavior as well, but some of them are, just as some Christians have done as you say.

I actually have questions, and it isn't christian. But I also see Christians honestly asking questions and other people saying things like, "I didn't know your imaginary friend had feelings." We're human, and true Christians try to work for the good of Jesus, not the criticizm of others. And only God can truely judge, as a reminder to all Christians out there.

No - denominations are wholly unbiased. It is wholly arbitrary to peer a query via a Southern Baptist and believe that it makes Roman Catholics appear unhealthy. That is like pronouncing that Osama Bin Laden offers Zen Buddhism a foul title. But I do get disenchanted whilst Greek Orthodox theistic rationalists submit hateful questions. Or no less than I gets disenchanted if I ever see that occur.

Yes, I'm a Christian, and most (if not all) of my questions is not for me to gain personal knowledge of the universe, but to know what and how OTHERS think. :) So I use it more as a psychology forum with religious themes >_> xD

It looks like you just did the same thing:
"It seems that people either ask a question and then answer their own question.."

There are many Christians who ask questions about faith and the Bible. The problem is that this forum is so overloaded with mud-slinging that it gets lost in the mess.
I have no questions, because I know it all, just ask me:)

That happens from almost everybody. The criticism goes both ways.
The only solution the gaining of faith or the losing of faith.
and those of us with faith arent losing it anytime soon.
