Zero sum nihilism says that the world exists in a "zero sum state." If the entire universe were converted into energy, the sum would be zero. The theory is compatible with the existence of thinking minds (Cartesian "cogito") and with modern physics, in which mass is the main repository of positive energy and negative gravitational potential energy is the main negative energy in the universe.

The theory says that the present universe evolved by unknown mechanisms from the simplest zero sum state. This obviates the existence of god and the problems entailed by it, namely the origins of evil and free will and the contradictions between our expectations and our experience. Thus it is a simpler explanation of the world, in accord with Occam.

If zero sum nihilism is true, (1) violations of complete conservation laws are impossible, (2) nearly empty space is the rule, matter the exception, (3) evolution is from the simpler to the more complex, all of which we believe we observe.

In my opinion George Strait is one of the greatest if not THE greatest country singer of all time. It's hard for me to pick one as being "the best". I'd have to say my TWO favorites are:

Amarillo By Morning - A timeless classic that sounds as good today as it did the day he first sang it.

and

Love Without End Amen - This song wouldn't have even been top 10 before I became a dad, now it takes on a whole new perspective.

I am married and just found out that I am pregnant (only about 7 weeks), so no one besides my husband even knows yet. I love my husband more than life, but I feel guilty becasue I do not know how I can love a child nearly as much as my husband. I don't even want to love anyone else as much as I love my husband. ive tried sculpey and it meltd in the heat and humidity of this southern weather. i need something to make ornaments out of that will stay hard. and that can be painted. also, i dont live near specialty or craft stores. only walmart and the grocery store.

i have this guy friend that i met while he had a girlfriend we talked alot and hes really nice but i see him as a friend the first few days we talked after i met him he always told me i was cute flirted with me and asked me for pictures..if you know what i mean after i kept saying no he started talking to me like a normal person (finally) he would rub his girlfriend in my face i didnt really care i just didnt understand why he would bother a few days before he left for vacation he started acting kinda shady

he left for vacation and then came back about 3 days ago now he doesnt even talk to me anymore he used to message me the minute he got on...i liked talking to him as a normal person...whats his problem?

I got hit in the head with a bottle back in highschool, left a couple of scars on the back of my head, especially one semicircle. Recently I've been shaving my head, do to a receding hairline (another damn problem). Well anyway, I got no option in it, and I'm keepin it like that. Well the scar is showing a lot more, but I didn't care, thinkin if anything it gave me that toughguy look. Well anyway, today I brought up the fact at work that I had gotten hit with a bottle, and two of my coworkers said "oh, I thought that was a ringworm or something" . WTF? I can't grow out my hair, cause it don't look right anymore, but now most people, that don't know I got hit with the bottle, might be thinking I got a damn ringworm. What the heck can I do?

I just went through SIX different phone calls with Tricare and my issues has still not been resolved. All I want is an appointment for an injury I just had while on vacation. How hard can a simple referal authorization be!!!!! I have had nothing but trouble with Tricare. I am convinced that they purposely make things so difficult so that the patient will just give up and suffer through just so that Tricare can save a dime. I pay into this insurance every month and they SUCK!!!!

I started out taking norinyl 1+35, but got bad moodswings so i switched to Microgestin Fe 1.5/30. I still got crazy moodswings with those (all during pms) so after a year I switched to Yasmin. THAt made me nauseous right after I took the pill, so FINALLY my doctor switched me to Aviane. Ive been reading reviews about it and it seems that it makes the moodswings even worse...? Im trying to get rid of it! I'm just wondering if there's anyone who it has helped?
