I have heard that there are hotels that give you free nights. My husband is getting ready to come home and we wanted to go to Vegas. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so can you tell me where??

Yes it is true. Call the las vegas visitor center, and they will give you info as to where to go.

I do not know if this practice is still in place but it was last year.

A room to a casino is nothing. They dont really make any money off any but the major suites, they get their money from the gambling and shows.

Try calling Tickets and Tours Office at Nellis, 702-652-2192 -- being right there, they're likely to know what's available for military in Las Vegas.
