I am 21 and i haven been loosing my hair in globs for two years now and its really starting to thin, if my blood results come back positive for thyroids, will i grow my hair backwith the meds they provide me? and gain weight? I feel like crap, i never had thick hair to begin with.

Yes. I have hypothyroid and if you are diagnosed with the same thing, your hair will start growing again, it will grow faster, and look in better condition.
Gaining weight? Well, the disease does slow down your metabolism....so it will speed up your metabolism a bit, and most people lose weight.
In my case, I was feeling might low (a bit depressed), and I felt so much better after getting medication , that I ate more and gained weight!
Also, if your skin is dry (like mine was), it will improve that, also.

You'll be fine. I have thyroiditis, but luckily they caught it before I had any severe symptoms. Strangely, the one with thyroiditis who had the same problem you are having is my dog. She lost all the fur on her tail, and her hair thinned all over her body. The vet prescribed thyroid medication for her, and immediately her fur started growing back. She now has very thick, soft, glossy coat of fur. I know it seems strange to compare her to a human, but I'm sure you'll have the same results.
