All precepts and commandments are about love and understanding. 'Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not envious, arrogant, or rude. It does not rejoice in wrong. It does not insist on its own way....' This is very close to the teachings of love and compassion in Buddhism. Why do we think we are so dissimilar regardless if you are Christian, Pagan, Jew, Muslim, Atheist, Gnostic etc. etc.

A former supervisor invited me and my boyfriend to her upcoming wedding. I still see her maybe 1-2x/year to catch up on things. If we love our planet we have to help our enviorment to better!!! We are cutting trees that gives us oxgen!!! We are pollutting the rivers because of the factories and we are pollutting our air!!!! Maybe it's just here on Answers, but all I see are people asking or talking about cheating on their spouse, or describing an unhappy marriage. Obviously when people get married, they don't expect their lives to turn out like this. For those that aren't married it makes you wonder if you should get married at all.
