She has three slightly buling discs in her lumbar region. They caused some pain last year, but nothing too long term or horrible. At that time, there was no need for surgery.

A few weeks ago, er back acted up and has gotten progressively worse, with severe pain no matter what. Our insurance turned down a referral to an accupuncturist, and she can't get to see a spine specialist until Aug. 10. What can i do to help her be more comfortable? This is killing me because I can't think of anything to do for her!

I know the whole "guys think about sex every__ sec" is absurd, but I'm just wondering, when they see a girl and make an obvious gesture that they're checking her out (or even when they're not obvious about it), what runs through their minds?
As a girl, if I think a guy is hot, I may just glance. I don't think about him hours and hours later, I don't think about what's underneath, I don't fantasize...lol I think most girls are like this. But I was talking to a guy friend and he told me guys get a little more graphic than that when they check out a girl. They think about the actual act??

So, really, college guys, what goes through your minds at the moment you see someone hot...?

Took my cat to the vet yesterday morning. Discharging blood and pus vaginally. Vet operated on her right away because he said she had pyometra.
I brought her home today but she doesn't seem to be doing very well.
The vet said he hoped that she would eat after she went home since she hadn't eaten. I haven't been able to get her to eat or drink. I have been giving her water with an eye dropper to try to keep her from dehydrating.
Has anyone had any experience with this disease and if so, what was the recovery time frame for your cat.

I decided to ask a few questions today to see just what the modern person (Christians and others) thought that "bearing false witness" meant. I got 17 answers and all of them said, lying!

Many Christians seem to have a poor view about Pagans, Wiccans and Heathens because they "believe" that these different groups worship the devil and they do evil things to people. Unlike our Christian cousins, we are not Christians denying our Christianity but people who truly believe in other Gods and Goddesses. The "fundies" are constantly parading born again Pagans who turned away from the devil and returned to Jesus. The fact that they found a Pagan or Wiccan who admitted that they were Wiccan/Pagan would not state that they were devil worshippers, cause we don't believe in the Christian devil or the Christian God.

So are Christians willing to admit that they having been bearing false witness against us?

I was treated in an intimidating way while crossing from Canada to the USA. After two days and seven hours of being intimidated and insulted by my country's 'officers' I was allowed to return to my home in Washington state. I wrote to my congressmen but I would like to take it further. Who else can I tell this story to? I am ashamed that US officers are allowed to act like gestapo. Sickened, really. Pissed to the point of being enraged.

Mariah? I'm tired of being compared to Mariah Carey! And plus, it's kind of...I don't really like it. I can't use my middle name either because there are already three other people at my school that have it (Sarah) and it's boring.
