I put it in this category because I want to hear it from women...not some sex crazed people in singles and dating...so, sorry if my categorization annoys you.

I have been meeting boys my age like crazy (new neighbors, church...just all over the place) And I talk to them, and they all end up asking me if I have a boyfriend (why is this? and does it happen to you when you talk to boys?) and then they act all suprised when I tell them I never have. (eyebrows go up. they say "really?" and they get this shocked face.) I'm only 14, I plan on waiting for a while before I go out (I keep hearing that dating is better when you're around 17-any older age) so why do they act all surprised and stuff????

It's probably the most obvious thing ever...Im pretty good at figuring out hard things, just not things that are right under my nose.

Hi. I have a fostex mr-8 mkII and I want to start recording. Thing is, I've heard about preamps and EQ. What are these? Which ones are good to get? Preamps make the mic louder? What model do you recommend? Any experienced recorders out there?

Well here are some of the things:

-Told me he liked me (but then a week later told me he liked another girl)
- Came to one of my soccer games and cheered for me
- Came to my house after with a bunch of other people (who were all girls)
- Kept smiling at me the entire night
- Talks to me almost every day on AIM
- Told me he doesn't know if he likes that other girl anymore.
- My friend asked him if he likes me (someone he doesn't know) and he said no.

(that stuff was in order of what he did)

He knows that I like him because the first time he told me he liked me I told him I liked him too.

First of all, I can't believe we're still having this argument. We now know that thunderstorms are not "angels bowling..." don't we?

But anyway--please, explain this:

God is said to disapprove of homosexuals, says it's a terrible nasty sin, and therefore who could be surprised when religious leaders first pointed to AIDS as God's wrath.

But according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, "To date, there are no confirmed cases of female-to-female sexual transmission of HIV in the United States database (K. McDavid, CDC, oral communication, March 2005)."

They don't claim it is impossible of course. But lesbians suffer from AIDS and venereal disease in general much less often than gay men.

Could this be because diseases are caused by GERMS? (Or should we not believe in germs, since they weren't mentioned in the Bible as part of God's creation?)

(Gasp) Does God LOVE Lesbians??

There are serious problems with the official declaration that the Apollo missions made it to the moon and that 12 astronauts walked on its surface. Why? Here's a short list: Radiation (Van Allen Belts, solar flares, cosmic radiation), no blast crater from the LM, photographic anomolies (hot spots, shadows, same locations, flag waving, hypergolic fuel problem, camera (too cold, too hot for film), no stars photographed, PLSS support systems not viable, and not to mention that we haven't been back to the moon in 35 years. All this against the advancement of technology respective to the late 60's and early 70's! And, don't give me the BS that the Russians would have blown the whistle on us. The Russians were controlled by the same corporate masters that ruled us! Besides, it is a stated fact that Yuri Gagarin never went up in Vostok I! So, we had the goods on the Soviets and why didn't we blow the whistle? C'mon people, wake up! This is bad science and you won't admit it!!!!!!!!

All the expressways, parkways, highways will be overcapacity, there will be bumper to bumper accidents. So forget about driving.

Airports will be jammed packed. No MAJOR metropilitan area has been evacuated EXCEPT Houston with Rita, but the NYC metro has over 5 times as many people.

I was just wondering if you don't have any more debt showing in your credit report because you paid it off, but there has been all those charge-offs and derogatories, will you still have a low credit score? Or does it get higher after some time? And do apartments and all the other places that check your credit before approving you for anything, will they still have any reason to decline you or do you think that hardly ever going to happen if it can be seen that you did manage to pay off all your debt?

If you were eating dinner with your family and everyone finished a little bit ahead of you would you expect them to just get up and leave you there right when they finish or wait until your done? I know that I can be a little bit of a slow eater but even if my family and I have a few guest over and he majority of them are done they still leave for example me and another person sitting there. If I am eating dinner with other people and I finish early i usualy just sit there and enjoy the conversation. what do you think?

I went to visit my parents and I borrowed my father's Honda minivan. As I was adjusting the seat and mirrors, I noticed the moon roof was open, which it turns out my Dad had left it open from earlier in the day when he got back from golfing. And there had been a quick downpour between then and when I got in. Now the signal lights do not work, and neither do the power door locks. I opened the passenger and driver's side fuse boxes, and the corresponding fuses seem to be intact, but I noticed when i opened the box on the driver's side there were a few water droplets.... could it be water damage, and if so, is it easily repaired or is the dealership going to ding my father with a huge labor bill?

this is what I'd do if I was president for emigration.

I would deport 30%. the criminals {discluding the charge of crossing the boarder.} and people that are least likely to integrate into the American culture. then the rest would have to sing a contract that says they have to be able to support themselves and be able to contribute to our society.

I know thats not reasonable but there is no reasonable in any emigration policy.

California overall receives about 30 to 40 inches of rain per year. India overall gets in excess of 300inches overall. Mumbai got about 33 in in one day.
Are there plans afoot to harvest and manage such heaven sent volumes of Clean water?
California is full of lush green farmes and golf courses and managed lawns .
No doubt it takes money to achieve the same kind of ambeiance, but we as people should start hounding our politicians and demand certain basic needs

i was at hunkomania for the first time and i saw some bride to be's, including the one from the bachelorette party i was part of really getting touchy feely with the dancers. one sat with us and told us he does private bachelorette partys also at hotels and homes and gets a lot more "friendly" than he can at the hunkomania show. anyone know of any brides doing sexual stuff with dancers like him at private shows in hotels and homes? i am REAL curious.
