Right,
Firstly, i am well aware of how difficult it is to get out of a fixed term contract. My landlord is an idiot.
Myself and my wife have a bought a house and it is due for completion in september.
We are in month 2 of a 12 month lease.
Having looked into it, the contract is in breach of a few of the unfair tenancy contract points laid out on the OFT's site at http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/consumer_leaflets/general/oft381.pdf

So basically, if its deemed unfair, can we whelch on the contract??

And does anyone know what we would be liable for if we breached a few of the billion points in the contract to break the contract??

Oh, and i want practicle advise not personal opinions or rude ness please!!

I think it's true to say that through history most Christians never read the Bible. The early church didn't let most people read it and besides there were very few around befor the printing press. Also, most couldn't read. My mother, brought up a catholic went to church a lot but has often told me she knowns very little of the Bible and was never encouraged to read it.

Since we have such a pathetic, president, and even more pathetic congress, then why can't We The People, decide. I never see our representatives asking what the actual population what we would like. Are they not suppose to represent us. I do not understand how the American people just stand by and let these freaks do whatever they want, how long have they been trying to decide on what to do with abortion, health care, social security, damn even the war in Iraq. If we can vote for our representatives, then I will tell you I should be able to vote on these issues that they cannot draw to a close. Even if it means taking some time off of work to run down to the voting booth and voting on a specific issue. At least then it would be resolved. Of coarse, our vote would have to finalize the issue, and they (our representative freaks) could not bring it up again. We The People, would have to vote to again to make any changes. Stay or go, fight or not, bow or kneel, whatever it may be.

My wife and I been married for a year, we live in CA. I want a divorce does she need to agree with divorce? If she doesn't agree with divorce what can i do? I am interested in how bad the United States would look if it just refused to leave Iraq.
Will some people just want the US to stay in Iraq on purpose to make the United States collapse as a nation economically?
If the United States continues to stay in Iraq it will go bankrupt at some time in the future so maybe Osama and Azawahiri will just love for the US to stay there.

I have been on a strict diet since May now and my weight did not move at all. I eat special K for breakfast and salad or soup or a subway sandwich for dinner. I am in class for lunch. I also walk 15 minutes to class and 15 mintutes back up hills back home. I have hypothyroid and am taking meds since birth so I doubt it influences anything. Why isnt my weight coming off?!

I have known this lovely elderly Jehovas witness lady for twenty years. We have been neighbours and constant friends through this time. She helped me through cancer, and i helped her through the loss of her husband, and the murder of her daughter. We have studied the bible together, and had some thought provoking discussions. I LOVE this lady.
Recently i changed from agnostic, to Wiccan. I told her of my choice, and she said that she would continue to hope i would be led to god, and that she still cared very much for me. We remained friends. Yesterday she came knocking on my door on her witnessing rounds, and brought a man with her. During our discussion, i politely told this man of my beliefs and that i still enjoyed a good chat! He appeared angry, and was quiet for a few moments. He then told my friend that they should not be there and told her how dirty and sinfull i was. My friend tried to protest but he insisted and dragged her away crying.....WHY?

I recently found this Yahoo answer site and at first I was thrilled. I thought, I can talk about faith and how I feel when I feel Jesus moving through me. The Christians annoy me more than the non Christians. The Christians here say there's no evolution, & there were no dinosaurs. I'm shocked! What God do you so called Christians beleive in. What mystery of this earth, of this universe is not of God? I don't get it. No dinosaurs? Are you people for real? Why do I have to choose God, or evolution? Obviously you people don't think God was capable of sparking evolution or creating a dinosaur. Love Bugs were not mentioned in the Bible, but they exsists. Or are the 2 kind of Christians? Logical christians and then the Christians who figure if it don't make sense to them then it's not of God? Such ARROGANCE. You'll never understand God's capacity. It never occured to me to not think that God was responsible for evolution, dinosaurs, & possibly lil green men from Zurton.

I personaly believe in God, which there IS proof of, not JUST in the Bible, but there is records of Jesus Christ in the Romans records, so go to Rome, and figure it out, but, really, wouldn't ya think that there would be at least ONE fossil of an animal evolving??

i've been doing taebo and eating about 1,300 calories per day(i eat 5 small meals a day- to keep my metabolism high) so far ive lost about 10 pounds. i still have about 20 pounds to go before im at my "ideal" weight. anyway, im going to keep doing the workouts when school starts, but i'll have to go back to eating 3 meals a day.

do you think ill gain the weight back because im not eating as frequently? even if i eat the same-(or less- if thats what it takes) # of calories?

any advice would be great
