That's not nearly enough information to go on: "Szabó" (which means "tailor") is as common a surname in Hungarian as "Smith" is in English. There are 415 individual telephone subscribers by this name in Szombathely (population: 80,000) alone. Budapest has many more: nearly 1/5 of the country's population of about 10 million lives there.

Budapest is frequently explained because the "Little Paris of Middle Europe" and if you intend to see that town you will need to have a look with hotelbye . Budapest is famous not merely for the monuments reflecting its own 1,000-year-old culture, but in addition for the relics of other individuals who settled here. Stays from both Roman occupation and much later ruled by the Turks can however be seen in the city. Budapest has two sides, Buda and Pest, stretching over the banks of the Danube, and they are addressing two various people of the city. Suburban Buda and its historical fortress area present medieval roads and houses, museums, caves and Roman ruins. The dynamic Pest part provides the biggest parliament making in Europe, riverside promenades, flea areas, bookstores, antique stores and café houses.

Another option is to join the Hungary research list via www.rootsweb.com. Often, persons who LIVE in the locality will be onboard, and help direct your search.
also.. for finding relatives, etc online, it is never necessary to publicly post person info like your address, etc. You are far safer to use an email connection, then "drop" into private email.

At www.allfamilycrests.com, it shows a SZABO family crest, but says only it was created many centuries ago. SZABO translates to TAYLOR in English and is a common Hungarian name.
Had better luck at www.rootsweb.com . The name is listed in 19 of 45 databases. Here is some info I found:
GYULA SZABO was born 15 May 1911 in BUDAPEST VI
and died 20 May 1968 in Budapest. His parents names were
JOZSEF GYULA SZABO (b.16 March 1871) and ROZA BALAZS (b. 11 Dec. 1890), and his wife's name is/was ILONI MAROSI (b. 28 May 1919). They had 4 children who were listed as "LIVING" SZABO. On his page, under the "Ahnentafel" section, 6 generations are listed. For more info on this family, contact ISTVAN BABCSANY, at the email mcsteve@elender.bu .
There are 19 people listed who were born in Budapest. Under the ship passengers who arrived at NY's Ellis Island were ERZEBET SZABO (age 5)--arrived Oct. 6, 1910 and died 40 days later at a hospital (I assume in NY) on Nov. 15,1910. JANOS SZABO (age 3) arrived Nov. 7, 1910 and died 4 days later on Nov. 11, 1910.
