I personaly believe in God, which there IS proof of, not JUST in the Bible, but there is records of Jesus Christ in the Romans records, so go to Rome, and figure it out, but, really, wouldn't ya think that there would be at least ONE fossil of an animal evolving??

Because there are none .Emmy not one single transitional form has been found . I look at some of the feeble answers above and say these poor people are delusional . They cite Archeopteryx. as half dino half bird. Absurd, the archeopteryx
was and possibly still is a flying reptile. Lucy has been shown to be a hoax, a fake just like piltdown man, Biology books are being cited. They have to be kidding. A book full of lies, written by man is fossil evidence ? No, there are no transitional forms. people cling to the absurd lie of darwinism for one reason only . To deny the fact of God, so they can feel good about their sin. Stand fast in your faith in God. despite the vain so called science of men. Your faith is totally based on the evidence of creation, the flood, the Bible, the resurrection of Christ and his holy spirit that dwells in you. Stand fast in the faith! God bless you for telling the truth. Cap'n Arlo

There are many transitional fossils. By definition, any fossil is a trasitional fossil between it's parents and it's offspring. However, if you're looking for something more dramatic then Tiktaalik is probably the most recent that's made the news. Tiktaalik is a transitional fossil from fish to amphibians. Then of course there's Archeopteryx which is a transitional between reptiles and birds. See the links below for more info.

By the way, there is absolutely no contemporary evidence that Jesus existed anywhere. Josephus will likely be your best bet for anything even close and the one passage everyone cites is thought to be almost a complete addition to the text made at a later date by Christians. Josephus mentions a Jesus one other time, and says he's the brother of James, but that doesn't mean much. That'd be like someone today saying that Joe is the brother of Bob.

Proof of evolution?-The multitude of fossils that have been found show that.
Proof of Jesus would not be proof of God. If you want to develop a sane argument for or against any thing or person, you have to look at both sides of the argument.
BTW, didn't the angel tell Mary to call him Immanuel? Why didn't anyone ever use that name? Christ was too vague-lots of religions used that word as the title of a character.

All life is evolving constantly- thus all fossils are transitional forms... or in other words the term transitional species is a flawed idea. We don't STOP changing at one point and then in a certain number of years start changing. Evolution takes that long because the changes can be so slight and take so long to become prominent that the rest of the animals or people born without the adaptations to their environments don't notice... otherwise they'd kill it or reject it.

You obviously did not do well in school.
All fossils show evidence of evolutionary theory, the Bible is written, was written, and will be written by men, and by the way is heavily edited, there are also many 'Bibles'.
I believe in God, the creator, and I believe in evolution, there is no conflict there sir;
You must not be Catholic because even the Pope acknowledges evolution. Come to think of it , it seems to only the protestant fundamentalist that had such a hard time with simple scientific fact.
I'll pray for you.

Every single fossil ever discovered is a living organism in the act of evolving. Evolution is constant, ubiquitous and inevitable. It can't *not* happen.

Since the mechanism of reproduction cannot be 100% perfect forever, there will always be mutations and imperfections of copying, and the more generations pass, the more mutations will accumulate. This is inevitable - it can't not happen, so evolution occurs in all species all the time, and must always have occurred in the past, as long as living organisms have existed.

The fossil record shows this constant change throughout the history of life on Earth as the fact of evolution necessitates. It shows species arising, diversifying and then going extinct, as is necessarily the case, because evolution and natural selection have been constant forces throughout the history of life.

yeah, it would seem that there would be millions of different kinds of animals , instead they fall into neat categories with just a few records of fossils that LOOK like they might be a cross between 2 species. i believe in evolution within the species, but not evolution as species cross each other.

Please provide me with any proof of Jesus's life from 4 B.C.E. to 50 C.E. The earliest writtings of the supossed messiah consist during this period of nothing, not one single mention of the greatest person to ever live anywhere. there are a few highly questinalble mentions of jesus generations after he supposedly lived.

Yet another christian with no clue what so ever about evolution. Why is it that atheists seem to know a lot more about the bible than most christians actually do?

The Roman records do NOT quote him as the son of God!
So where is the proof?
It just names a MAN called, (in modern translation), Jesus.
And all fossils show a snap shot of evolution.

what would you expect the fossil of an animal that is evolving to look like? truth is, evolution doesn't happen to individuals - they just grow and develop under control of their genes. it is populations of organisms that evolve, and it takes many generations. so you can't look at ONE animal and say it's evolved - you have to compare it to other animals that lived at different times.
