Read the Holy Bible about divorce. No, you can divorce for any reason. She does not have to like it. She has to know that she cannot have her own way. You are the head of the household and that is that. If she doesn't want a divorce then maybe you should consider counseling. It could be that you are misreading her and are making a big mistake according to her. A year is a year. You must have wanted to marry her for a good reason. So talk over your problems with each other. you both want to still be amicable afterwards. so make sure that she is complete agreement with everything. Marriage is a two-way street. not just one. You are both imperfect people who said "I Do" a year ago. think about what you are throwing away. Okay? the Holy Bible has a lot of answers for anyone that wants to know. Good luck and God Bless you both.

She does not have to agree as California is a no fault state. If she contests things the divorce will take longer to finalize but you can still get a divorce. CA has a six month waiting period which starts when you file papers.

Best to hire a lawyer and he can even represent
you in court. If she disagrees then the divorce is
contested and you will have to appear with your
lawyer and substantiate why you want a divorce,
once the divorce is finalized, you have to wait six
months after the divorce before you can get marr-
ied again. Good luck.

Each state is diffrent look online to see what your state laws says, and for why you want a divorce, did you or she cheat?, I think after a certain amount of time if she won't sign you can get one without her, once you are divorced you maybe able to marry the next day lol, check with a local lawyer and see what guidelines are in your state

She does not have to agree. Hire an attorney to prepare the file the dissolution papers at the County court. Takes 6 months for the divorce to become final, then you can get married again.
