I am interested in how bad the United States would look if it just refused to leave Iraq.
Will some people just want the US to stay in Iraq on purpose to make the United States collapse as a nation economically?
If the United States continues to stay in Iraq it will go bankrupt at some time in the future so maybe Osama and Azawahiri will just love for the US to stay there.

Can the United States, considering the state of the economy in the US, continue to stay in a war WORLDWIDE killing terrorists,Abu Sayaff, Al Qaeda, Tamil Tigers whatever their particular name is ? I don't think people realize that with the dollar weakening to all time lows that the United States cannot continue much longer at its current pace of war expenditure especially since they are not capable of settling the problems in numerous other countries(Sri Lanka,Sudan,Uzbekistan,Lebanon,Syria,Iran,Etc.)

Bankruptcy and eventually a worldwide economic recession. Of course we're talking over like a 10 year period. I expect us to withdraw way before it gets that bad.

It would mean that the 1st world Press had stayed being the 5th column for the terrorists. As long as the Left & the Press keep telling the individual Iraqi citizen that the Government of either the US or Iraq will do it for them, they will do just like the people on welfare in the 1st world. Continual gang warfare is normal in the entitlement society.

Some of the Islamic people would like it to stay for the fact that fighting is a way of life and they would win in the same sense that they did against the soviets in Afghanistan. I am not trying to single out a group but make a generalization from my point of view. I know there are lots of great Islamic people.

We will always have some military presents in Iraq just as we do all over the world. As for the war on terror... We're going to be fighting it for a very, very, very, very.... long time. We have to eliminate those that want us dead. That means fighting until every last terrorist is dead, or locked up.

those some people are, Bush and their supporters who think they know what they're doing but they are obviously too stupid to see the facts!!!
As far as bankruptcy, war cost is $13 billion a month and US is $3 trillion in debt so far. You do the calculations!!!

the US has been bankrupt for some time now.
i suppose if the war continued long enough the troops would start firing on the military leaders and go awol.

.the deficit will continue rise regardless of who is in office or what the world situation is..as long as America is the Superpower of the world, it will always look bad to those who dont agree with us......
