I am friends with this guy for 2 years and we are really close. I am not the perfect friend but when he needs I am there to comfort him and to be kind. I love pleasing him and whatever he askes me to do even if it's the most crazy stuff. I am leaving the country and I told him I was sad as hell to leave. He wouldn't say a thing to comfort me or showed any pain from my depart.
I asked him if we could meet and talk cuz I was in need of a friendly shoulder, however, I wonder if it's not a shame to ask for something the other should offer you without need asking, since I was there when he needed.
What do you guys think?

my hair is about halfway down my back. its straight, and sort of a dirty blonde. since its summer time, the sun has made it slightly more blonde than it would be any other time of the year. i have an oval shaped face. i need a new hairstyle. i havent cut it in about two years simply because i can not decide what to do with it. ive gotten it trimmed though so its still in decent shape. currantly i have it parted on the side, so it sort of covers one eye (not bangs, not emo looking either), but im sick of it. i need something new. anything you can suggest? i have a very goth and roll sense of fashion, so please dont show me anything that will contrast too much with my style. i also dont want anything with bangs because i had them for so long prior to what ive got that i am sick of them. i should also mention it is VERY difficult to get my hair to curl. my hair curls about as easily as dry spagetti, and getting it to stay curled would take a whole can of hairspray...so, help??

I have a small 403B account from a job I know longer work at. I am wondering if I can somehow close out the account and withdraw the money. Its not much but my family is relocating and it would help out. I'm wondering how I would go about doing this, and how much it would cost me in fee's. I'm not sure if it matters, but I live in Minnesota and I stopped working for this company in Dec. 2006. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I can't afford to see a financial planner or attorney or anything lilke that right now.

My bridal shower is going to take place about 3.5 months before my wedding mainly because I'm getting married and having my shower in a different state from where I live (both are taking place in my hometown area) and my ability to travel back and forth is limited especially closer to the wedding. Is this inappropriate?

I see the religious and atheist as standing in the ditch on both sides of a road scared to leave the safety of it.

I don't claim to be an Agnostic but I'd think your like me. The type that takes chances and plays in traffic, living everyday as if it's your last.

Looking forward to what's around the next corner or the next page in a book, a lifetime if learning everything you can. Open minded individual thinker to an extreme.

I can see where everyone else can be like this to certain degrees but not every minute of their life's.

Is this how Agnostics are or should be?
If so I don't think it's right your compared to athiest because your nothing like them.

If there was someone (guy) bothering someone (married women), and the women works and the guy comes in to the bank where she works more then once to get her attention, can you call the cops on a matter like that? Also what if the guy swings at the husband and strikes him , can you sue?

It is like "isolationist" is an explitive for certain people. Just label someone an isolationist and then everyone will avoid him like he is a child molester.
North Korea (a left wing country) is a great example of isolationism. Nobody or nothing goes in or out without absolute government permission.
Ron Paul's idea is this: let people keep the money they earn, the government doesn't have massive amounts of money to waste on foreign aid, the USA has peaceful relations with all countries, our military defends our borders, free trade is legal between the USA and other nations.
Anyone who thinks that is isolationism is either ignorant, not very bright, or dishonest. So why do all these people call him an isolationist? Are they afraid of freedom and limited government?

My sister, 2 years younger than me is having trouble at school with another girl, Steph, who pushes her around and sends her verbal abuse by email.

It seems to be a known fact now that Steph actually fancies me. My sister and her few friends say that she is constantly talking about me.

Now my mother believes that Steph bullys my sister to get noticed and attention from me. My mother isnt blaming me, that would be ridiculous, but she seems to be hinting that this is the cause and I can do something about it.

I dont really think this is it. Why this girl or anyone would think I would start to notice and think of her in any positive way by bullying my sister is beyond me.

Any advice?

1. Female circumsion, believe me it's not done in a doctor's office.

2. Women treated as second class citizens, having to sit in the back of a car...etc....not allowed to drive, no input into the family situation, arranged marriages.

3. When Pelosi visits the middle east she covers her head.

Please don't tell me its religion...it's oppression. Middle Eastern men are not men at all, i.e. the 72 virgins, they wouldn't know what to do with one.

i know this guy who i have known since i was like 6 & he & i like each other. he even told me he loved me, the whole thing felt so surreal. but then i found out he didn't mean it, & then we faught. later i found out he flirted with another girl while he was fighting with me! i cried so much over him & i think i fell in love with him. but obviously i mean nothing to him, unless i'm dating someone else. cuz when i did that he got jealous/pissed off. should he feel that way? & should i have cried over him?
