when i found out my grandpa died, it was so sad, he was sick for a long time. he passed away on nov. 25, 2006 right after thanksgiving

I was 22 years old and newly married. My husband worked away from home during the week from Monday to Thursday. It was about 3 AM on a Thursday morning and I was awakened by someone making noise outside of our home. When I was fully alert, I realized the noise had been someone breaking in the front door. It was too late for me to reach for the phone or to do anything else....so I froze and prayed. I heard him in the hall and felt him as he leaned on the bed to see if I was asleep or awake. I heard him digging in my purse and through my things. I heard him in the hallway as he went into the bathroom to dig for prescription drugs. He got a few dollars in cash from my purse and nothing else from the home. I heard him close the door and I laid there with tears running down my face for about ten minutes just to be sure he was gone. Then, I jumped up and called 911 and some friends of mine who happened to be on the force came to help me. The door was messed up and stuff was all over the place. He had broken into three other houses that night. About a week later, he actually beat up a woman who woke up and confronted him. It took me a long time to feel safe again. I learned to use a gun, but I could never bring myself to think that was the answer. I have since moved and have a safer home where it would be much more difficult to break into...but some times I still have nightmares about that person leaning on the bed and what would have happened if I had not been calm and just kept praying in my head to keep myself from freaking out.

in 2005 i went on a cruise with my parents and my aunt and uncle,a day or two into the cruise the captain got on the p a system and warned the passengers that there was an outbreak of the norvo _virus onboard and everyone had to be super cautious about washing our hands ,we were to wash them practically all the time to ward off this infectious disease.well,i was frightened stiff that i was going to get it,a week later out trip was over and i could finally relax? nope as soon as i got home,i got sick but it was mild.

Most probably when we were being chased down the road by some drunk skaters.. they ended up beating up my friends and having a go at my brother.. I was the only girl there and couldnt do anything.. just screamed..
Once my friend got up off the ground he was just bleeding all over his eye and head..he ended up with brain damage
And my brother was so small.. I felt so lucky he didnt get hurt

Me and my sister picked up a guy we knew from school to give him a ride to his house. When we got to his house we let him out and 3 men came up to pick a fight with him. They ended up pulling a knife on him and we weren't sure what in the world to do. His family finally came out and ran the other guys off but I thought we were going to watch him die. There wasn't a whole lot we could do she was 16 and I was 14 at the time...scary...

When i got stitches in my foot (i was only 9 at the time)
I also had to get stitches in my hand when i was 9
And also when i was 11 i was in a car with my mother her friend (who was driving) and my younger sister. she was driving pretty fast and it was raining at the time so the car ended up skidding off the road and landing in the ditch.

I got on this scary ride at Disney Land.
They threw us like 80 feet up in the air.
I was certain that I would die but luckily I survived.

When the tire came off of our car and swurved in front of 3 cars and off the freeway and into a ditch missing a drainage pipe....

Just today, a rattlesnake jumped on to the trail right in front of me! Luckily I was mountain biking.

when i was in labor with my son, i was getting an epidural and the doctor injected it wrong (into a vein, the dumbass)and i went into seizures, respiratory arrest, and my body shut down. machines kept me alive for 5 hours, until i stabalized. needless to say my son was born blue and thru c-section. he was 5 hours old when i met him in ICU :o(
