If there was someone (guy) bothering someone (married women), and the women works and the guy comes in to the bank where she works more then once to get her attention, can you call the cops on a matter like that? Also what if the guy swings at the husband and strikes him , can you sue?

There are two issues involved here. First, the swing-and-a-miss... that's an assault, without the battery. The swing itself is an assault... had he hit the husband, it would have been a battery.

The woman needs to tell her employer that the man is causing a problem. The bank employees should rally around her and protect her from his unwanted attentions. He should be warned by a supervisor or manager, and if he has no legitimate reason for being there (like an account at that bank) and returns after the warning, they can call the police and have him arrested.

If either the husband or wife feels physically threatened by the man, or is scared of what he might do, they need to go to the civil courts and request a restraining order. They should make sure to articulate their fears in the restraining order... their fear is what will support the issuance of the order. They also need to know what the requirements are for a follow-up restraining order hearing... filing the order and serving it on the guy usually is only good for a couple weeks.. then they'll all have to attend a hearing to make it stick for... I think it's a couple years.

If you have questions, contact the police in your area. They'll know more about how things work in your county and any of us do.

First question is yes call the cops and tell them that the guy is stalking the married woman.

Second question is also yes. He can be charged for assault.

she'd have to make a complaint to the police about him harassing and stalking her. then take that complain to the court to get a restraining order against him

she could also talk to the bank to ban him from the premises.
