It's called selective outrage and the libs are masters as to what "offends them". The rest of the world can do, say or practice any litany of abuses. You have to understand, libs only get unhinged at things they can blame on America.

These issues are not left or right. They involve basic human decency. Change doesn't happen overnight, and there are many women's groups of all stripes working on these issues throughout the world. Ms. Pelosi covers her head as a sign of respect in the country she is visiting. Being confrontational about what to us is trivial would hardly be appropriate or conducive to getting things done when she is in another country where the custom of covering one's head is observed.

Those of you who want to preach, take care of your own backyard!
In the last 24 hours we've had Fred Thompson, while on a commitee investigating Nixon and Watergate, tell Nixon that the special prosecutor knew about the tapes, and he was given instructions on how to ask questions by Nixon's lawyer!
Now we have:
Senator's number on escort service list By DOUGLASS K. DANIEL, Associated Press Writer
1 hour, 31 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - Sen. David Vitter, R-La., apologized Monday night for "a very serious sin in my past" after his telephone number appeared among those associated with an escort service operated by the so-called "D.C. Madam."
Vitter's spokesman, Joel Digrado, confirmed the statement in an e-mail sent to The Associated Press.
"This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible," Vitter said in the statement. "Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there — with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way."
Right, God talks to him!
And you talk about Clinton when almost everyone of you are doing the same damn thing!
The party of morals>>>>>>>>>>>>> which have none!

Is sad and shameful. There are many liberal women who do organizations to help those women who are being abused. Pelosi didn't do anything because she is a politician, she has to keep her cool. I find it horrible that girls are being mutilated and that women are forced to cover their hair. Is going to be a glorious day when they are liberated.

It's not the women's groups turning their heads - if you think that it is - name one.
"Egypt has announced that it is imposing a complete ban on female circumcision, also known as genital mutilation."
