We had 700,000 new citizens take the oath last year alone. If we are so bad, why do so many people come here and pledge allegiance to the US?

seems like most people are always looking for someone or need to be in a relationship to feel like somebody.. and if your not your crazy.. i never had this feeling ive been the exact opposite never looking but always have someone trying to hook up with me.. (yea im the heartbreaker lol) ive always been happier single...dramafree baby ... ive tried once or twice.. but no time lately ..just been into working and my friends.. who else feels like this .. and who is ALWAAYS lookin and why ( i get the idea why and i know thats just not my thing.. but wanna see someonelses side)

i love my mom to death but she aint really giving me the space i need she still thinks ima kid im 15 and i dont want to spend that much time with her as i used to but no matter what ima always have time for her but she s afriad ima go out and get pragnet like my aunts did wen they was 15 but im not like that my momz always gonna be my best friend she still is we still spend time with each other but sometimes i want to be alone and i tell that but then she thinks somethings wrong when theres not but i tell her i like to be alone sometimes to think and write poems and songs but shes always trying to be under me to protect me from the world for once i wish i could make my own desitions for once what can i do? tell her to leave me alone but i dont want to be mean about but sometimes i need space.... I NEED HELP

This person lied to several judges and has cost me thousands what can I do to get this person into the light of the truth I have the proof but noone seems to care about being lied to so as of yet nothing has been done to bring out the truth and stop this person from ruining lots of lives.

Im sure theres good men out there and I hate this body obsessed world we live in! I love the (dove) adverts showing real women, Im not fat, I call myself a large 12 (uk) cos 14 is too big but some 12s are tight, ive had babies and have tumy (flab) to me in the mirror im hideous but I really feel after reading mens oppinions that its fine, do men care REALLY about wobbly bits bums andtums? I tried to do a system restore (display properties/desktop is totally hosed after an install/uninstall of Webshots...it's looking at My Pictures instead of Windows) and it won't restore. I went back to July 1 and no go. The above problem just started today. Any idea why my restore won't work? Thanks!

Hi, im an International student from south america. I am doing the IB diploma (Nov 2008) and i have a problem if i want to apply to american univs...

I am a junior (UW GPA 3.8, projected 2000-2100 SAT).

The problem is that next year (senior) i havo to finish the IB and the national curriculum. Moreover, some friends and I will go backpacking to Europe right after we finish the IB so i wount have time to apply to university.... so.. here comes the question...

Can I apply as a Junior and tell universities that i will defer entry for one year if i am accepted(explaining the reason)?? (providing i finish my SAT's and TOEFL in my junior year)...
