Can you say why?

Today I went to Walmart and when I got into the parking lot I unloaded the groceries into the car and pushed the buggy over to where the other buggies where. I tried to line it up with the buggy in front of me when i noticed something was stuck so I looked to see what it was and it was a brand new pack of batteries. Not thinking to much about it I took the batteries and just thought today really is a lucky day being it 07/07/07, but when i got home and showed them to my brother he made me feel guilty and said that it was like stealing from the store. What do you think?

I always wondered why if a ball is popped foul it can be called an out. But if a batter foul tips into the catcher's glove on a count with less than two strikes, why isn't that an out.

I know a batter must get three strikes but the batter has in effect , "fouled off a pitch", so why wouldn't it be an out since the catcher made the catch?

I'm married to the meanest man ever. He gets home late from work almost daily and says he was "working". When he gets upset with me, he will basically live in the basement for weeks at a time and if he speaks to me it's in a full rage. He is gone from morning until late at night knowing I will be here when he gets home. I'm SICK of it. He has pushed me so far into the ground that my self esteem is lacking. Should I go out and have fun too? Come home and tell him "I worked late" just like he does? I'm sad, lonely and need a night out. Advice appreciated.

Last summer 1 saturday hubby and his best friend fishing..Couple days later i was talking to his buddy and he told me hubby and him went out to breakfast before they went fishing well i didnt know this..His buddy told me that hubby told him NOT to tell me about going out to breakfast..When hubby came home that night i ask him about this and he said he never said that..When his best friend told me this he said he didnt wanna keep any secrets from me...I dont care about them going out to breakfast but i would care if hubby did tell his buddy not to tell me..Hubby has lied and kept stuff from me in the past however it was hard to tell who was telling the truth and who was lying...His buddy would have had no reason to lie about this...So who would you have believed?

My name is Sandra and I live in Austin Tx. And no matter what I do and what I write I cannot get anyone to resond, or to become and want to become my...FRIEND.!! What have I done that is so horrible, or is so horrible about me that no one wants to have anything to do with me at all? All I want to do is have people in my neighborhood here where I live to do something with me, and talk to every once in while, maybe go to a movie or out to eat or just simply sit at home and watch T.V. and talk on the phone. Wouldn't that be great. I don't even know why I have an answering machine. I never get any messages in it anyway. Since I don't have any friends what so ever. Who would ever call me? Why doesn't anyone want to be my friend? Isn't there anyone in the whole city of Austin Texas that wants to be my friend? ANYONE?? Am I not a good person?

I have a 97 softail with an s&s motor I was recently on a long ride about 50 miles into I noticed my oil pressure Gauge had stopped work but everything seemed fine so i finished the ride which ended up being around 300 miles. It just recently got out of the shop and i'm thinking its something they did to it. Should I get it looked at or is it something that can wait till my routen maintance is up?

My case manager said that my friend isn't a good friend because of something her boyfriend did wrong to me. & also, my CM said my friend shouldn't be allowed in my house anymore. That's my ONLY good friend, & I have no family support at all. & she said that if she catches my friend @ my house, she'll have me put in a group home. Is this unfair or what?

My friend told her boyfriend off about insulting me. She defended me, & my case manager STILL said my friend ALLOWED her boyfriend to disrespect me.

Now my friend & I are both sad, & she felt she had to dump her boyfriend, just to stay my friend, rather than allowing my friend to mediate between me & her boyfriend or try to settle our beef (resentment).

Everyone I've talked to says that it's not what it used to be, of course only a couple of them have actually worked in this profession and it was many years ago. So I would really like some insite on what it's like now. I am wanting to move to LA and if can't find a job then I am thinking of being a flight attendant but don't want to make such a bold move in the wrong direction. At the moment I live on the east coast, and California is calling my name. Please help with some advice. Thank you guys!!
