My case manager said that my friend isn't a good friend because of something her boyfriend did wrong to me. & also, my CM said my friend shouldn't be allowed in my house anymore. That's my ONLY good friend, & I have no family support at all. & she said that if she catches my friend @ my house, she'll have me put in a group home. Is this unfair or what?

My friend told her boyfriend off about insulting me. She defended me, & my case manager STILL said my friend ALLOWED her boyfriend to disrespect me.

Now my friend & I are both sad, & she felt she had to dump her boyfriend, just to stay my friend, rather than allowing my friend to mediate between me & her boyfriend or try to settle our beef (resentment).

Please check about getting reassigned to another CM. A good one will never threaten you will a group home or anything else.

If you are an adult, you are not responsible for another adult's inappropriate behavior. Each adult has to become responsible for themselves. I think your case manager is wrong!

Your case worker is right. She must have told you to stay away from these people for a reason. But if your friend is no longer with her boyfriend, then it's ok.Your case worker is just concerned about your safety.
