How long will the human race survive?

The earth wont last forever. In some billions years ahead, our sun will give us its last breath of energy until it vanishes into nothingness. And if we stay around, it seems we will share its fate. Will we die with it or move on somewhere else? When do you think that the last living human being will pass...?

We will definitely survive Earth's death (when sun inflates into a red giant) by moving to Mars or maybe even to another star. But, looks like, all living things (aliens included) will die in about 25 billion years or so (when the universe suffers a heat death).

Some scientists say some 1 billion years from now, but it really can't be calculated so there probably won't be a real answer to this question, but the guy 3 people above me seems to want to get 10 points. O_o

Well ,in a "billion of years" ,when the sun will explode ,we would be soooo further in the science ,technology and everything else ,that I'm sure that we'll be able to move somewhere else ...

I supply humanity some thousand years. With our ever increasing inhabitants, we will expend further and extra supplies till finally we've no longer something left. i think of this is going to take around 10 to fifteen billion human beings to empty the earth completely, for this reason ensuing in starvation and cannibalism till we fall under a definite ingredient and we the two die of illness or of starvation.

my theory is that we construct some spaceships before our resources finish(because the are gonna finish someday) and try and find other places to migrate in the on other planets but nothing is for sure, the future is unpredictable in some cases
