By this I mean have sex with several different people and live with them, make no apologies and then want to get married in a church? I believe this is messed up because the Bible is totally against women playing the harlot and men participating with them.

So what are the rules and what's 'a lot'?
If you're not a virgin you can't get married in a church?
How about with her perspective spouse? Or one other person? Or two?
What's the number?
How about men 'playing harlot' with his perspective spouse? Or two? 40?
Sheesh! Luckily I don't have to worry about those things anymore because I don't think God lives in churches but in hearts!

Where else are they gonna get married? In a basement?

Well, I understand what you mean, but Jesus gorgives everybody who repents... and if the person that "slept around" repented to Jesus and asked for forgiveness, then their sins were washed away.... if not, then they're just trying to get married the traditional way.... of course the traditional way also includes sexual purity before marriage....

but the church shouldn't kick out sinners.... because then there would be no church. everyone is a sinner.....
I think that person who slept around should be approached lovingly by a friend and that friend should tell them that God designed sex for marriage only, and that waiting for marriage is the best thing.

Personally I don't think it is hypocritical, people can get married wherever they choose. However, it is in bad taste considering they lead a loose lifestyle and then pledge their vows in the sanctity of a church when they really care less about what the church stands for.

Sure. However, sometimes some men have to pay to sleep around because women don't like them. So in their case, they most likely won't get married anyways.

Well yes really it is if you think about it. If people are going to do things that aren't right and then go to a holy place to get married it's like rubbing someone's nose in it....
Atleast they should pray and get on track before going to a holy place to get married. I'd be to scared to do that. Sounds like a good way to get zapped... ha ha

What I find hypocritical is people who don't even attend church who insist on getting married in one.

The responsibility of judgement lies in God's hands alone. Who are you to judge?
