NOT EVERYBODY........I love read hair! I spent a fortune over the years keeping it that colour, I had four different boyfriends with red hair, and I think the nurse with red hair that is in casualty is sooooo pretty.
I THINK its a bit of a nurdy type of craze of late.......keep smiling!

I'm a redhead and people do say things, but not in a bad way. I get a lot of compliments. People always say, "Wow I can't believe that's natural" or "I TRY to dye my hair to look like that." We are a rarity. I've never had anyone say anything negative about my hair...maybe about how pale I am. I think it's wonderful to be a bit different.

I wasn't aware that society had a problem with red heads. How long has this been going on? I'd like to know how long I've been in the dark.

i never noticed society being cruel to redheads...but there are some individuals who are just cruel and insecure about themselves so they just tease others, but don't take it personally. Btw, I dont think being a redhead is considered a race thing, so a person isn't racist when they make fun of redheads or blondes or w/e.

I don't know. I happen to think Redheads are beautiful. I just love red hair. In fact, I wanted my girls to have red hair. But I got a blonde & a brunette. They're still beautiful though. Anyway, in our family we have a lot of redheads and they're so beautiful. Beside it's the rarest hair color and I love it. Good luck. 2D

I feel exactly the same.
I'm not a redhead myself (not a natural one anyway, mine's more auburn and from a bottle!) but my ex is ginger and there's a big chance my baby will be ginger, and I'm really worried about the abuse they'll get from other kids.
I'll probably be up for murder in 10 years, when some smart a*se kid starts bullying my son/daughter and I rip their face off, lol!

being against redheads isn't racist, racist is for race. red heads aren't a race. so its just discrimination. Dont worry, redheads are rare these days, everyone wants to be blond or brunette. Theres nothing wrong with having reddish hair. If people dont like it, thats their problems really.

I've never really seen blatant discrimination against redheads, but when people say things like: "beaten like a red-headed stepchild". It really turns me off. I don't know where this comes from, but it's a pretty awful thing to say anyway.

Its not relay all Red heads its relay the ones with day-glow nips and under ca-rage. I find red heads attractive unless they can light up the room when they strip off, SORRY.
